Attention customers:
Google and some GPS directions become incorrect when you get close to the farm road. When you are coming from the north, and you get as far as turning left on Rt 5 South toward Leonardtown/Lexington Park, get in the left hand lane and when you turn it is exactly one mile and Shlagel Road will be on the left. DO NOT turn into Pinefield Subdivision. We are shortly past that.
From the North:
495/Beltway to Rt 5 south toward Waldorf. 301 south also becomes Rt 5 south when you get into Charles County. Right before you get into Charles County and Waldorf there will be a WaWa on the right and a 7-11 on the left at an intersection. Get in the left hand lane. You will be turning at the next left. The overhead signs say Rt 5 south Leonardtown/Lexington Park. There is a light here but only for the three turning lanes. From that light you go exactly one mile and Shlagel Rd is on the left. Turn in and follow the road to the second driveway on the left. Look for the signs!
From the Hughesville area:
take Rt 5 North toward Waldorf. At the first stoplight in Waldorf turn right. This is labeled Mattawoman on this end and Rt 5 south on the other end. There is a gas station on the right and on the left is the entrance to St Charles and Nicks of Clinton. Shlagel Road is on the right just past the large Baptist Church on the left. If you see Pinefield Subdivision, you have gone too far.
From LaPlata:
301 North to the Northern end of Waldorf. Right after you pass Taco Bell, KFC, and 7-11 on the right, turn right on to Substation Rd. BB&T is on the left once you turn. This road is about one mile long. At the end, turn right and get over in the left lane. Shlagel Rd is immediately on the left. Follow Shlagel Road to the second driveway on the left. Signs will be out at the driveway.
